In April 2015 I attended a show featuring a handful of local bands and after asking a few patrons if they had ever seen Frank Love before, they shook their heads and said they had never heard of him. So, now, the intrigue sets in and I cannot wait to see what this opening performer is all about. With no introduction, the group, not a solo performer, kick start the night with a thundering track that immediately had heads turning their way. And, out of nowhere comes an unsuspecting woman who grabs a hold of the microphone and delivers some of the most powerful vocals I have ever heard in rock'n'roll. This wasn't just another singersongwriter, this was a punk band that absolutely commanded attention. To this day, I still talk about that night. Frank Love is a punk band. You won't forget that after you see them perform.
